Risa is a life long resident of Brooklyn. She has a BFA and MFA from Pratt Institute and has been a working artist her whole life. She recently retired from teaching art at The Packer Collegiate Institute after 27 years.
Her landscapes are inspired by her life in Brooklyn and travels to the coast of Maine, and to the Green Mountains of Vermont.
Risa creates visual diaries of her travels wherever she goes.
